How Pinterest Will Benefit Your Business

Pinterest is the fastest growing social networking platform, ever! And why is this?Pinterest is a network built for sharing and organising images, whether it is your own photographs or other images that you find on the internet. Statistics show that our brains process visual information 60,000 times faster than text and 90% of the information that enters our mind is visual.  So it is not surprising why a visually focussed social networking platform has flown through the roof!

How will Pinterest help my business?

Pinterest will make your business visual, relatable & shareable. Pinterest will promote your products, services, engage with your audience and show how your business will benefit their lives.

Use your Pinterest account to ‘Pin’ photographs of your own work, brand associated images, how to guides, tips, inspiration and infographics that will strengthen your brand.

The more brand-related images you Pin – the more exposure your business will receive!Users can share your photography and pinned images in just a few clicks – this makes promoting your brand extremely easy and free!

Also, you can install the ‘Pin It’ plugin on to your website. This will enable users to pin your visual content to their Pinterest boards. By having your visual content pinned to user’s Pinterest boards, you will be exposing your business as every ‘Pinned’ image will be linked back to your website.

Pinterest Enhances Your SEO

Pinterest is heavily crawled by search engines. This makes Pinterest an amazing platform to use your keywords and create links back to your site. Building the amount of links back to your website will help you land on the first page of Google for all of your keywords!

Tip: upload your own images which can be linked back to your website, use your key words in the image titles and pin impressionable images that people will want to share.

Pinterest Increases Traffic to Your Website

A recent study by Shareaholic revealed that Pinterest promotes more traffic to your website than Twitter, StumbeUpon, Reddit, Google+, YouTube & LinkedIn! Sign up and don’t miss out on all of the potential hits you could be getting!

Pinterest Engages with Potential Customers

Believe us when we say, Pinterest is addictive! It is one of those websites that you can lose hours of your time just staring and pinning hundreds of images to your boards. By having an online Pinterest presence you add a personality to your business as well as interacting with your customers.

Virtual Fair

We’ve recently been involved in creating the graphics for a graduate fair with a difference. It’s all online!

The virtual fairs allow the user to interact with exhibitors via the internet and are the perfect way to connect with a tech-savvy audience, whilst saving money at the same time. Whether uploading CVs, browsing job vacancies or chatting live with an employer it can all be done remotely, via the virtual fair.

The brief was to create graphics for a multi-tiered site that viewers can use to search for employment opportunities in their desired location and field of expertise. Prospects asked for it to look like you were getting deeper into the virtual exhibition the further you searched. Starting on the streets of a virtual town you can select an exhibition centre and then go inside to see the individual exhibitor stands that are relevant to your initial search.
